Role Description The Domestic and International Contracting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This position is responsible for negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts with hotels, transport providers, activity operators, and other travel partners for both domestic and international destinations. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing rate proposals, securing favorable terms, maintaining updated contract and rate inventories, and coordinating with product and sales teams to support package design and pricing.

The manager will monitor market trends, evaluate supplier performance,



and identify new partnerships to strengthen the company’s offerings. The role also involves ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining accurate records in internal systems, and resolving contract-related issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in contract negotiation, vendor management, and relationship building with domestic and international travel suppliers.

- Proficiency in contract drafting, documentation management, and basic legal and commercial term interpretation.

- Solid analytical abilities for rate comparison, margin analysis, and market research to support competitive pricing.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams.

- Comfort with using office productivity tools and reservation or contracting systems; ability to maintain organized records.

- Prior experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality contracting or procurement is highly beneficial.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.

- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
