Role Description The Doctor will provide virtual consultations, ongoing clinical care, and follow-up support to patients across the APYVA platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient histories, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications or therapies as appropriate, and coordinating care with other specialists in a multidisciplinary setting. The role also involves educating patients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and evidence-based treatment options, while documenting all encounters accurately in digital health records.
The Doctor will collaborate with the care team to ensure integrated,
patient-centered care and contribute to health education content and quality initiatives as needed. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent) and valid license to practice medicine; board certification or specialization in areas such as gynecology, endocrinology, family medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, or related fields is preferred.
- Clinical expertise in women’s health across life stages, including menstrual health, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, menopause, PCOS, and preventive care.
- Robust skills in telemedicine practice, including virtual patient assessment, digital documentation, and use of electronic health records and telehealth platforms.
- Excellent communication and counseling abilities, with a focus on trauma-informed, empathetic, and non-judgmental patient interactions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and coordinate care across specialties such as nutrition, mental health, dermatology, and lifestyle medicine.
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine, continuous learning, and participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Comfort working remotely, with strong organizational skills, reliability, and adherence to data privacy and medical ethics standards.
- Experience in digital health, community health, or health education initiatives is an advantage; fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
