Role Description The Director of Finance and Accounting is a full-time, in office leadership role based at Taj Exotica Resort and Spa, Goa in the South Goa district. This position oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance, while ensuring alignment with corporate standards and local regulations. The role involves managing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, monitoring cash flow, optimizing cost controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and mentoring the finance and accounting team, coordinating audits,



implementing internal controls, and partnering with operational leaders to support revenue management and profitability. The Director is also responsible for maintaining accurate records, improving financial processes, and contributing to long-term financial planning for the property.

Qualifications A CA with

- Strong finance and accounting foundation, including expertise in Finance and Financial Statements.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Extensive experience in hospitality or service-sector finance, ideally in a leadership role managing multi-functional finance teams.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance relevant to hotel operations.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to internal controls and risk management.
