About IsvaraTech

We are building a next-generation CNC-based microfactory in Bengaluru to serve global clients via platforms like Xometry, Fictiv, and Protolabs, with a specialization in aerospace, defense, and medical device prototyping.

Location: Bengaluru (Peenya / Devanahalli / Other)

Title: Director, CNC Engineering and Operations

Roles and responsibilities

1. RFQ-to-installation for CNC equipments. Evaluate, negotiate, and coordinate procurement to commissioning of CNC machines (focus on 3, 4, 5-axis machining centers, evaluate combo of VMC, turnmill, turning machines, CMM for QC, and ancillary equipment)
2. Recruitment. Build the team or programmers, operators, and other technical roles within the company
3. Team management. Manage the technical team for day-to-day work, shifts, learning and development, talent management, appraisals
4. Machining operations. Plan and schedule the jobs based on orders, external vendor management for adhoc tooling and other add-on treatments or services to ensure timely delivery of quality jobs at target cost
5. Supply-chain and logistics. Plan and schedule logistics for raw materials, adhoc tooling and other services and finished goods in coordination with suppliers, vendors and customers
6. Store and inventory.



Manage the store and inventory practices to prevent any leakage
7. Certifications and compliance. Lead the process for industry-relevant certifications and compliance requirements
8. Job order selection. Select the job orders which match the target TAT, complexity, price on different platforms

Experience and skills

1. 12+ years’ experience in CNC machining, CNC programming, CNC equipment purchase, CNC machine shop setup (preferably some years spent in aerospace, defence, and / or medical devices with medium to high mix of job types)
2. Proven track record in setting up and operating industrial facilities (preferably CNC machining in aerospace, defence, or medical)
3. Familiarity with certification processes (ISO 9001, AS9100D, ISO 13485, ZED)
4. Strong network in Bengaluru’s CNC machining ecosystem is a plus
5. Previous experience to hire, assess, and manage technical talent (CNC programmers, CNC operators, QC engineers)
6. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Positive command in written and verbal English for formal business communication. Good command in verbal Kannada / Hindi for informal communication will be a plus
