Summary /Purpose of the role
- Drive market expansion and enhance product reach within the small pump business segment.
- Manage overall sales performance to ensure achievement of primary and secondary sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive sales of Small Pump Business products of Kirloskar Brothers Limited in the assigned territory.
2. Conduct brand-building activities such as:
- Plumber/Mechanic meets
- Retailer meets
- Canopy activities
- Farmer meets to strengthen brand visibility and market presence.
- Develop and expand the retailer network under dealers to increase market reach and business footprint.
- Manage and nurture existing dealers to achieve company Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.
- Identify opportunities and appoint recent dealers to cover untapped markets (white spaces) in the assigned geographical area.
- Visit the market regularly along with dealers or the sales team to appoint quality retailers and strengthen the distribution network.
- Maintain regular interaction with existing retailers and communicate current schemes and offers.
- Motivate and guide dealers regarding sales promotion schemes such as:
- Provide market feedback to the Regional Manager (RM) about competitor activities, pricing, and customer demand, and seek support when required to compete effectively.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Positive attitude, customer-focused approach, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with channel partners.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, or industrial products will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and digital communication tools will be preferred.
