Job Position Title: Director/Associate Director – Sustainability Transformation – Decarbonization

Location: Gurgaon

Years of experience required: 12 years+

Education qualification: Masters (MBA preferably) with B/Tech/B.E. from top-tier colleges.

& Summary The profile focuses upon onboarding a self-motivated and self-driven professional to lead the decarbonization transformation for our clients, resulting in EBITDA improvement. The Director/Associate Director will be at the center of digital transformation initiatives across sectors enabling integration of renewable energy, improving energy efficiency, building upon climate change frameworks, cost take out and performance improvement. This would be a client-facing leadership role responsible for originating, selling, and delivering large transformation engagements.

Responsibilities

Drive enterprise-wide EBITDA improvement programs through value-engineering, cost optimization, and digital performance levers across manufacturing and services. Integrate Digital transformation programs for the clients focusing on:

1. Energy transformation: Integration of renewable energy and battery energy storage system (BESS), energy efficiency, and green fuels – green hydrogen/ammonia/methanol. Energy management dashboards for the enterprises to track the real-time flow of energy along with sources, cost, and source-wise consumption.
2. Cost optimization: Designing and implementing AI and advanced analytics for capex project management (across greenfield and brownfield expansions) and operational improvement.
3. Contract analytics: Tracking key contract terms and associated value for the client covering – roles and responsibilities, timelines/milestones, implications of missed timelines, liquidated damages, cashflow/working capital monitoring and management.
4. Critical minerals and materials for manufacturing:



Adoption/ Sourcing of critical minerals and materials for manufacturing RE equipment such as solar cells/wafer/ingot, wind turbine, BESS cell chemistry, green hydrogen electrolyser, etc.

Lead Engineering & Digital Enabled Transformation

1. Experience in delivering digital manufacturing diagnostics, digital twins, operational command centers, advanced analytics platforms, AI-enabled process optimization, and energy management systems.
2. Hands-on experience using machine learning, GenAI, optimization algorithms, digital twins, reinforced learning, and advanced PLCs to deliver improvements.

Client Leadership Should have an executive presence and interact seamlessly with CXOs, Board members, Manufacturing/Plant heads.

Business Development

Own revenue growth across priority sectors, including chance identification, proposal development, commercial negotiations, executive relationship management, and account growth.

Collaboration and networking

Utilize internal and external networks for large transformation pursuits/projects for end-to-end offerings to the client, with an element of recurring/success fees model.

Mandatory skill sets

Sustainability - led value creation including productivity improvement, electrification and energy optimization. AI/Digital transformations including industrial engineering, advanced analytics and digital twins.

Preferred skill sets

- Lead Digital and AI Transformation initiatives
- Strategy/Transformation/PMO/ Digital Solutions for Capex Project Management and Operational improvement
- Experience working with clients across sectors such as manufacturing, power, renewables, chemicals, iron and steel, cement, oil and gas, metals and mining.
