At MoveUp Media, we run high-traffic media brands across sports and betting. Behind them: around thirty internal applications on our own servers, a fleet of about 45 WordPress sites, and TypeScript / React / PostgreSQL applications. We are looking for the engineer who will take ownership of that whole infrastructure.

? Your Mission

Keep our infrastructure secure, fast, backed up and monitored, and industrialise our deployments. A hands-on, autonomous role: you are the go-to person for the servers, not one link in a large infra team (No people management).

?️ What You Will Do

- Secure our dedicated servers and VPS: hardening, firewall, SSH access, patching, secrets management
- Backups and restores: strategy, offsite copies, and regular restore tests
- Build and maintain the CI/CD pipelines — for WordPress as well as TypeScript / React applications
- Put monitoring and alerting in place, so an incident surfaces in minutes, not hours
- Industrialise the infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, and get rid of manual steps
- Optimise the performance and cost of our hosting.

✅ Who You Are

- Linux administration (Debian / Ubuntu) and server hardening, in production
- Docker and Docker Compose in production, behind a reverse proxy (Traefik or Nginx)
- Cloudflare: DNS, CDN, cache rules, WAF
- AWS: EC2, S3, IAM
- CI/CD built end to end, GitHub Actions preferred
- WordPress in production: WP-CLI, deployment, staging, database
- Node.js / TypeScript / React, PostgreSQL and MySQL / MariaDB: backup, restore, tuning
- Terraform and Ansible you have written yourself
- Monitoring and alerting: Prometheus / Grafana, Netdata, Zabbix or equivalent
- Bash scripting + Python or Node.js




- 3+ years of experience in the DevOps or Infrastructure role.
- Proficiency in English and 4 hours of daily overlap with Europe (until ~6:30 p.m. IST)
