Job Description

Independently constructing the design and development of complex plastic trim components, including advanced interior and exterior parts. • Drive design optimization initiatives, ensuring manufacturability, durability, and cost-effectiveness. • Ablity to work on automotive parts like door trims, instrument panels, center consoles, pillars, and sunroofs • Knowledge of Leather/PVC Foil Covering • Knowledge of plastic part Moldflow, Thickness requirement for ribs, fixing elements • Preparing primary CAD proposals for packaging feasibility • Knowledge of processes like Foaming, Infrared Welding, Punching, milling, etc. • Ensure designs meet the functional, aesthetic,



and safety requirements of the vehicle • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to resolve design issues • Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 software with valuable plastic part construction methodology • Knowledge of plastic part tooling and Assembly sequence analysis • Understanding of manufacturing processes like injection molding and assembly • Positive communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • CAD quality check with required checklist • Part/Assembly DMU check. • Drawing update, review and release
