About the Role:

Popular Switchgears Pvt. Ltd. is inviting applications from energetic and motivated fresh engineering Graduate and Diploma holders for our 1-year structured Apprenticeship Training Program under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). Trainees will gain hands-on industrial experience in the design, testing, production, and quality assurance of low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) switchgear assemblies, control panels, and power distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Production & Assembly: Assist in the assembly line operations of electrical panels, circuit breakers (MCCBs/ACB), busbars, and wiring setups.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Support senior engineers in routine electrical testing, continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, and visual quality audits against engineering drawings.
Design & Documentation: Assist the technical team with electrical schematics, CAD layouts, Bill of Materials (BOM) compilation, and project compliance logs.
Maintenance & Safety: Learn and follow strict industrial safety standards (EHS),



equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance protocols on the shop floor.

Eligibility Criteria:
Qualifications:
Graduate Apprentice Trainee (GAT): B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / EEE / Mechanical Engineering.
Diploma Apprentice Trainee (DAT): 3-Year Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
Eligible Batches: 2024, 2025, and 2026 passout batches only (with no active backlogs).
Experience: Strict Freshers (0 years experience). Candidates who have already done an apprenticeship elsewhere will not be eligible.
NATS Registration: Valid registration on the NATS 2.0 web portal (nats.education.gov.in) with an approved student ID is mandatory before joining.

Stipend & Compensation:
Graduate Trainees: ₹9,000 - ₹12,000 per month (Strictly as per standard NATS guidelines).
Diploma Trainees: ₹8,000 - ₹10,000 per month.
Certification: Official Government-backed NATS Certificate of Proficiency upon successful completion of the 12-month training period.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
