We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee and optimize the manufacturing processes at Mehta Tubes Limited (UNIT: II). The ideal candidate will ensure effective production while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and output.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities.
Optimize manpower and machine utilization to achieve production targets.
Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
Monitor KPIs and analyze production data to improve efficiency.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning departments to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Identify bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
Lead, mentor, and train production staff to enhance skills and productivity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or related field / Diploma Mechanical Engineer.
Minimum 12 years of experience in production management, preferably in non-ferrous metal or tube/piping industry.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and ERP systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a rapid-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Experience with ISO and other industry certifications.
Proficient in MS Office and production planning tools.
