We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Nurse to lead our nursing team and oversee the daily operations of our hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of nurses and nursing staff
Oversee daily nursing operations, including patient care, medication administration, and documentation
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Monitor and address patient and family concerns
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and nursing activities
Requirements:
BSc Nursing (BSN) or MSc Nursing (MSN) degree
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Registered Nurse (RN) license
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and nursing informatics
Certification in a specialty area (e.g. critical care, pediatrics)
Leadership certification or training (e.g. Nurse Manager Fellowship)
