About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated entry-level DevOps Engineer Interns who want to build a career in DevOps, Cloud Computing, and Infrastructure.

The candidate will receive hands-on exposure to real-world development and deployment environments and work with the technical team on server management, application deployment, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

- Assist with application deployment on Linux servers.
- Learn and work with Linux/Ubuntu environments.
- Assist in managing development and staging servers.
- Work with Git and GitHub for source-code management.
- Assist in creating and maintaining basic CI/CD pipelines.
- Learn and work with Docker and containerized applications.
- Assist with AWS cloud services and basic infrastructure configuration.
- Configure and troubleshoot basic Nginx, DNS, SSL, and HTTP/HTTPS requirements.
- Monitor server/application status and review logs.
- Assist developers with deployment and environment-related issues.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of server, network, and deployment problems.
- Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
- Follow security practices for server access, credentials, and permissions.
- Learn and implement DevOps best practices under the guidance of senior team members.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Linux/Ubuntu.
- Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts such as:
- IP addresses
- Ports
- DNS
- HTTP/HTTPS
- Client-server communication
- Basic understanding of software development and deployment.
- Willingness to learn AWS, Docker, and CI/CD.
- Basic command-line/terminal knowledge.




- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have

These are not mandatory for freshers:

- Basic AWS knowledge.
- Docker experience.
- GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Basic Bash or Python scripting.
- Nginx experience.
- Cloudflare knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of databases.
- Personal DevOps, cloud, or deployment projects.

Eligibility

- Freshers and students from Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of experience can apply.
- Candidates with no professional DevOps experience are welcome.
- Academic projects, personal projects, certifications, or hands-on practice in Linux, AWS, Docker, or Git will be an advantage.

What We Expect

We are primarily looking for learning ability and technical fundamentals, not extensive professional experience.

The ideal candidate should

- Be curious about how applications are deployed and hosted.
- Be comfortable working with the Linux terminal.
- Be willing to troubleshoot problems instead of simply escalating them.
- Have a robust interest in Cloud and DevOps.
- Be willing to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
