About the Team and the Role The Enterprise Applications - Digital Operations & Engineering team at Ather is responsible for architecting, deploying, and optimizing the enterprise digital backbone that powers our procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and financial systems. This role is for an Ivalua Application Lead who will own end-to-end development, configuration, integration, and platform governance of Ather’s iValua procurement ecosystem. The lead will bridge business requirements from
Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams with robust technical configuration and seamless integration across enterprise platforms like SAP and Contract
Lifecycle Management tools.
Responsibilities
Architect, build, and configure workflows, business rules, forms, and approval matrices across iValua SRM, RFx, and eProcurement modules.
Implement and manage ASN, GRN, and Invoice Processing workflows,
including 3-way match logic (PO-GRN-Invoice) and exception handling rules.
Design, build, and maintain robust data integrations between iValua, SAP
(MM/FICO/SD), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), and third-party
APIs/middleware.
Configure and maintain Supplier Performance Management scorecards,
evaluation workflows, and procurement KPIs within the platform.
Translate business requirements into clear technical development specifications and configure the system in alignment with end-to-end Procure-
to-Pay (P2P) processes.
Lead triage,
root-cause analysis, and SLA-driven resolution for production incidents, batch job monitoring, and interface failures.
Manage release cycles, UAT coordination, change management, user adoption initiatives, and hypercare support for platform enhancements.
Maintain complete technical documentation, customization logs, interface architecture schemas, and operational runbooks.
Experience and Qualifications
B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
8 to 12 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5 to 6 years of hands-on iValua development and configuration experience.
Proven track record of managing integrations between iValua and enterprise
ERP systems like SAP, alongside exposure to full-lifecycle implementation projects.
Must have Competencies
Hands-on iValua platform configuration and development expertise across
SRM, RFx, eProcurement, ASN, GRN, and Invoice Processing modules.
End-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) module domain knowledge, including 3-way matching logic, tolerance checks, and supplier performance scorecards.
System integration architecture skills using APIs, web services, and middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO) to sync transactional and master data.
Advanced SQL capabilities for querying databases, data validation, interface troubleshooting, and direct issue diagnosis.
Good to have Competencies
Official iValua Developer / Configuration certification.
Functional understanding of SAP MM, FICO, and SD module data flows and table structures relevant to procurement.
Experience with middleware configuration, file-based data exchange protocols, and API endpoint maintenance.
Structured release management experience across complex multi-system enterprise environments.
