Role Description The Design Lead will oversee end-to-end design delivery for commercial interior projects, guiding concept development, design direction, and final execution. This full-time, in office role in Bengaluru involves leading a team of designers and collaborating with architects, AI specialists, and project managers to create functional, brand-aligned spaces. The role includes developing design concepts, reviewing layouts and mood boards, ensuring design quality, and coordinating with clients to gather requirements and present design proposals.

The Design

Lead will work closely with AI-powered tools to refine spatial planning, visualizations,



and interior details, integrating data-driven insights into the creative process. Day-to-day responsibilities also include managing timelines, aligning with business objectives, mentoring team members, and ensuring that all deliverables meet project standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in commercial interior design, including concept development, space planning, and execution oversight.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 3D visualization tools; familiarity with AI-enabled design tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor design teams, manage multiple projects, and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to present design ideas, incorporate feedback, and manage expectations.
- Understanding of ergonomic principles, workflow optimization, and brand-focused design for corporate, coworking, hospitality, retail, or healthcare environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working on-site with vendors and contractors, with knowledge of materials, finishes, and industry best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, with strong attention to detail.
