Position OverviewThe Design Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating design activities across structural, architectural and building services disciplines for high‑rise building projects. This full‑time, on‑site role in Bengaluru involves managing design documentation, reviewing submittals, and ensuring alignment with project requirements, codes, and client expectations. The role demands proactive communication among internal teams, consultants, and clients, while tracking design progress and supporting timely resolution of design‑related issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Design Coordination: Facilitate integration of Structural and MEP designs for high‑rise projects.
- Documentation Management: Review submittals, drawings and technical documents; maintain organized records.
- Project Meetings: Organize design review meetings, prepare coordination reports and track action items.




- Progress Tracking: Monitor design schedules, highlight risks and assist in timely resolution of issues.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as liaison between design teams, Architects and clients to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and best practices for high‑rise construction.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (advanced qualifications in project/design management preferred).
- Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams for high‑rise building projects.
- Strong design management and project management skills, with ability to handle rapid‑track schedules.
- Solid understanding of architecture and building services for integrated design solutions.
- Proficiency in reviewing submittals, drawings and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes (NBC, IS, IEC, etc.).
- Effective communication and presentation skills for client and consultant interactions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
