Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Deputy Supply Chain Manager / Supply Chain Manager role based in Bangalore Rural. The role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination for automotive components.

Day-to-day activities include monitoring material requirements, managing vendor relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods. The role involves close collaboration with production, quality, and finance teams to align supply chain plans with manufacturing schedules and cost targets.

Manager / Supply Chain Manager will also analyze data to improve supply chain efficiency,



support implementation of best practices and ERP systems, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and inventory control, with experience managing materials for manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in procurement and vendor management, including sourcing, negotiating, and developing supplier performance and reliability.
- Experience in logistics and distribution management, covering transportation planning, warehouse coordination, and on-time delivery performance.
- Ability to use ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools to monitor supply chain KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, sheet metal components, and basic quality and compliance requirements is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate teams.
- Solid problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a supply chain leadership or supervisory role within the automotive or heavy manufacturing sector is preferred.
