Role Description:

This is an on-site internship role for a Derivatives Trader based in Surat. The intern will support the trading desk in executing and monitoring trades in commodity and futures markets under the guidance of senior traders. Daily responsibilities include analyzing market data, tracking positions, assisting in the development and back-testing of trading and hedging strategies, and preparing reports on market trends and trading performance.

The role also involves collaborating with risk and operations teams to ensure accurate trade capture and compliance with internal risk parameters.



The internship offers hands-on experience with trading tools, exposure to derivatives products, and opportunities to learn professional trading practices.

Qualifications:

- Candidates should possess skills in Trading with interest in real-time market execution and position management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Trading Strategies and Hedging, with an ability to support strategy design, back-testing, and risk mitigation.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Equity and Commodity Markets, including key drivers, price behavior, and market fundamentals.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools.
- Ability to work accurately under time pressure, with attention to detail and disciplined risk awareness.
- Clear and professional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate within a trading and operations team.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Interest in financial markets and willingness to learn trading platforms, market terminals, and risk management concepts.
