- • Collating relevant data and forming opining on withholding tax on foreign remittances.
- Calculation of TDS on foreign Payment.
- Ensuring compliance with various provisions of income tax relating to foreign remittances - providing data & obtaining relevant certificates (Form 15CB) from a chartered accountant and generating necessary form (Form 15CA) to be submitted to the banker on all foreign remittances.
- Ensuring proper documentation of forms 15CA-CB and detail on the basis of which tax position is taken. TDS Return Preparation and Filing:
- • Compiling data regarding non-salary related data from SAP.




- Verification of TDS amount from SAP generated report and Form 15CA & 15CB • E-Payment of TDS to government treasury after appropriate approvals • Quarterly TDS return filing on online portal • Filing revised/correction TDS return online • Issuance of relevant TDS certificate (Form 16A) to vendors • Resolving queries related to TDS demand outstanding on Department’s portal.

Income Tax Return

Preparation / Tax Audit

- • Assisting in compiling data for filing income tax returns of Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Group Companies, Trusts, HUFs and Dr.

- Co-ordination with concerned departments for queries regarding books of accounts and financial statements and suggesting for rectifications, if any, to be made in books of accounts.
- Compiling details and preparation of Tax Audit Report and Transfer Pricing Report • Income tax return preparation in return utilities issued by income tax India e-filing portal.
- Computation of advance tax, deferred tax and payment of the same to government treasury.

Income Tax

Assessment / Appeal

- • Scanning and filing of entire mail and hard copy correspondence/income tax notices received from income tax department.
- Assisting in preparation of replies to various queries raised by tax authorities.
- Preparing annexures and paper books of replies to be made to tax authorities.
- Keeping complete track on notices received from income tax department and sending calendar invites to all team members regularly.
