About the Role

Ammunic Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for retired Indian Army personnel (OR/NCO/JCO) to join our team as a Defence Equipment Test & Trials Executive.

The role involves supporting the testing, trials, evaluation, demonstration, and field validation of defence equipment, weapons, and systems. The candidate will work closely with the Engineering, R&D;, and Project teams and will travel to various user locations and field trial sites across India.

The ideal candidate should bring strong practical military experience, field exposure, equipment-handling knowledge, and an understanding of operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Support testing, field trials, user trials, demonstrations, and evaluation of defence equipment, weapons, and systems.
- Participate in trials at designated defence establishments, ranges, training areas, and user locations.
- Prepare equipment for trials, including pre-trial checks, setup, deployment, and operational readiness.
- Operate and demonstrate equipment/systems during authorized trials and demonstrations.
- Monitor equipment performance under field conditions and identify operational, functional, usability, and reliability-related issues.
- Provide practical user-level and operational feedback to the Engineering and R&D; teams.
- Assist with basic fault identification and troubleshooting in coordination with technical teams.
- Record trial observations, test results, issues, and user feedback accurately.
- Assist in preparing trial reports, checklists, evaluation notes, and field documentation.
- Coordinate with internal Engineering, R&D;, and Project teams during trial activities.




- Support interactions with authorized defence/user personnel during testing, demonstrations, and evaluations.
- Ensure safe and proper handling, transportation, deployment, and operation of equipment during field activities.
- Capture lessons learned and improve inputs from field trials for product development.
- Maintain required confidentiality, safety standards, discipline, and professional conduct during all field and user engagements.
- Undertake extensive travel across India and stay at trial locations as required by project schedules.

Candidate Profile

- Retired Indian Army JCO / NCO/ OR with relevant field or technical experience.
- Preferred background in Demolition, Corps of Engineers, Combat Engineering, EME or other technical/equipment-related roles.
- Hands-on experience with military weapons, equipment, vehicles, or defence systems.
- Experience in equipment operation, inspection, maintenance, testing, trials, or demonstrations will be preferred.
- Good understanding of military field operations and user requirements.
- Valuable communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Willing to travel extensively across India and work at field/testing locations.
- Ability to work closely with Engineering, R&D;, and Project teams.

Qualification

- Retired Indian Army personnel – OR/NCO/JCO.
- A formal engineering qualification is not mandatory; however, it will be an added advantage.
- Relevant military experience and practical field knowledge will be given greater importance.
