Database Design and Development: • Design, develop, and implement database solutions based on business requirements. • Create and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and views. • Develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, and functions. 2. Performance Tuning and Optimization: • Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure effective query execution. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries. • Implement indexing strategies for improved database performance. 3. Data Security and Integrity: • Implement and maintain data security measures, including access controls and encryption.



• Ensure data integrity through proper normalization and validation techniques. • Perform regular data quality checks and implement data cleansing processes. 4. Database Maintenance: • Perform routine backups and recovery procedures to safeguard data. • Plan and execute database patching and upgrades. • Monitor and manage database capacity to meet current and future requirements. 5. Collaboration and Documentation: • Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate database solutions into overall system architecture. • Document database design, configurations, and processes. • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members. 6. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: • Investigate and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner. • Implement proactive measures to identify and address potential problems.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role. • Proficient in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server). • Proficient in cloud database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS). • Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization. • Experience with performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting. • Knowledge of data security best practices and principles. • Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Preferred Skills: • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques. • Programming skills in languages such as Python, Java.
