Role Overview
As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining Andamen's Shopify storefront. Beyond writing clean, scalable code, you'll work closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and Technology teams to build experiences that improve conversion, performance, and customer engagement.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of ecommerce customer journeys and up-to-date UI/UX principles.

Key Responsibilities
Shopify Development




- Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and Shopify Online Store 2.0 architecture.
- Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components.
- Develop custom sections, snippets, templates, meta field-driven experiences, and theme extensions.
- Optimize storefront performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and SEO.

Customer Experience & Conversion Optimization
- Understand customer behaviour across the complete ecommerce journey—from landing page to checkout.
- Build intuitive shopping experiences that improve engagement and conversion.
- Implement features such as:
- Product Detail Page enhancements
- Product Listing Page improvements
- Search & Filters
- Cart & Cart Drawer
- Collection Pages
- Navigation & Menus
- Upsell & Cross-sell journeys
- Personalization
- Promotional experiences
- Mobile-first shopping experiences
