Senior Accountant – Nagpur

Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra
Position: Senior Accountant
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month
Experience: 3–6 years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, financial records, statutory compliance, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with Tally/ERP, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and accounting records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and ensure timely filing.
Perform bank, ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Verify invoices, bills, expenses, and supporting documents.
Prepare cash-flow statements and assist with budgeting and financial planning.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
Track outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely settlements.




Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting policies.
Assist management with financial analysis and accounting-related decision-making.
Support internal and statutory audits and provide required schedules and documents.
Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Accounting and GST/TDS compliance.
Hands-on experience with Tally Prime / ERP software.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas and reporting.
Robust reconciliation and analytical skills.
Good understanding of statutory accounting requirements.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in construction, infrastructure, road works, manufacturing, or project-based companies will be preferred.
