Key Accountabilities:Helping identify and assess the archival value of materials related to special collection projectsAssist in creating collection guides and shelve guide for finding the library resourcesAssisting in technical processing including accessioning and other registers as well as supporting the cataloguing, classification, labeling, due date slip spine, barcoding, stamping and shelving of all the library’s resources as well as creating the database recordsAssisting the tasks of creation, organization of subscribed digital content Assist the team members to evaluate, select and apply metadata schema and techniques, standards, data elements to provide description and access to Jio Library’s collectionsAssisting the acquisition librarian to manage and provide assistance in ordering, managing and cataloguing the acquired materialsAssist in managing the circulation counter services,



performing shift duties as well as assist in supporting user services.Managing enquiries over the counter and via email or telephone.Support at the information counter and perform other duties as designated by librarians in the assigned work areaQualifications:Master's degree in library and information science (MLIS) Skills:Solid interpersonal skills such as diplomacy, negotiation skills for effectively communicating with diverse groups Demonstrated solid oral, written, and web presentation communications and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of the pedagogic use of a wide range of e-learning technologies Knowledge of technical processing i.e., cataloguing and classification etc.,Demonstrated experience to operate email and calendar applications to create, respond to, and organize department activitiesFluency in spoken and written Hindi, English requiredFlexibility to meet the changing needs of the service
