Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, hygienic, and experienced Cook to prepare nutritious and hygienic meals/snacks for students and staff. The candidate should maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare meals, snacks, and refreshments as per the school’s requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and cooking area.
Follow proper food safety and hygiene practices.
Ensure food is fresh, properly cooked, and served on time.
Maintain proper storage of food items and ingredients.
Check the quality and freshness of vegetables, groceries, and other ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness of cooking utensils, equipment, and kitchen facilities.
Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
Maintain basic records of kitchen supplies and inform management about requirements.




Follow the school’s safety and hygiene policies.
Cooperate with school staff and support kitchen-related activities when required.

Requirements
Previous experience as a Cook is preferred.
Experience in a school, hostel, daycare, hospital, or institutional kitchen will be an advantage.
Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
Positive understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to manage regular kitchen duties.

Salary

₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
