- Role Overview: Data Scientist

We are seeking a Data Scientist for the Advanced Analytics team, who will join the team to develop analytical models and insights that drive pricing, account guidance, and risk assessment decisions across Chubb's Property & Casualty insurance product. This position offers exposure to a wide variety of analytics tools and technologies as well as unique challenges in problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), data validation, and preprocessing on large, complex datasets
- Research, recommend, and implement statistical and mathematical methodologies appropriate for business problems
- Build machine learning and statistical models (GLM, regression, classification, clustering) to support pricing and risk insights across P&C; products
- Develop production-quality Python code following best practices (OOP, design patterns, Git workflows, code reviews)
- Translate analysis findings and BI visualizations into clear business insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Work with business stakeholders globally, manage deliverables against timelines, and present results
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and mentoring within the data science team
