We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in Insurance and Investment domain to design and manage scalable data models for enterprise analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (Amazon Redshift/Snowflake) , along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust analytical data structures.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models

Build dimensional data models (Star &

- Snowflake schema)

Develop and optimize data models on Amazon Redshift / Snowflake

Work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams

Model key datasets across

Policy, Claims, Premium, Underwriting

Investment portfolios, holdings, trades, valuations

Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks

Ensure data consistency, governance, and modeling standards





Support reporting, analytics, and regulatory requirements

Optimize performance using MPP concepts and query tuning

Required Skills

6 to 8 years of experience in Data Modeling &

- Data Warehousing

Robust expertise in

Conceptual, Logical &

- Physical Data Modeling

Dimensional Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)

Hands-on experience with:

Amazon Redshift / Snowflake

Advanced SQL

Strong domain knowledge in

Insurance (Life &

- Annuity) (Must-have)

Investment / Financial Data

Experience with MPP architecture & performance optimization

Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Good to Have

Iceberg / Data Lake technologies

Data Governance / Metadata tools

Experience in Financial Services / Enterprise environment
