Role Description This is a full-time, in office Cyber Security Trainer role based in Chennai at TechPanda Academy.

The Cyber Security

Trainer will design and deliver structured training modules on core cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices to diverse learner groups. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing course materials, creating lab exercises, conducting interactive classroom sessions, supervising hands-on projects, and explaining real-world security scenarios. The trainer will assess learner performance through assignments, quizzes, and practical evaluations, provide individualized feedback,



and support learners with interview preparation and career guidance. The role also involves updating training content to align with current industry trends, collaborating with the academic team to refine curricula, and participating in workshops or seminars conducted by the academy.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Cybersecurity concepts, including threat modeling, security frameworks, and risk management.
- Hands-on expertise in Network Security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network architecture.
- Practical experience in Application Security, covering secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing.
- Knowledge of Information Security principles, policies, compliance standards, and data protection techniques.
- Experience with Malware Analysis, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating malicious software and related threats.
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor in cybersecurity or IT domains is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to learners at different levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are an advantage.
- Ability to design practical labs and projects, keep content updated with current industry trends, and support learners with career-focused guidance.
