Role Description This full time, in office Critical Care Registered Nurse role is based in Bengaluru South. The nurse will provide direct, high-acuity patient care in the ICU, including continuous monitoring, assessment, and implementation of evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, performing procedures within scope of practice, documenting clinical information accurately, and collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. The nurse will participate in care planning, family education, and coordination with remote or technology-enabled critical care support where applicable. The role also involves adherence to clinical protocols,
infection control standards, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license with recognized nursing qualification (B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) and formal training in critical care or ICU nursing.
- Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and administration of critical care medications.
- Strong clinical judgment, ability to respond to emergencies, and experience following ICU protocols, infection control, and safety standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with physicians, allied health professionals, patients, and families.
- Comfort with using healthcare technology and electronic medical records; openness to working with Smart-ICU or tele-critical care solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by critical care settings.
- Previous ICU or high-dependency unit experience is strongly preferred; experience in technology-enabled care is an advantage.
- Commitment to continuous learning, participation in training and upskilling programs, and contribution to quality improvement initiatives.
