Company Description Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) is a Central University under the Ministry of Railways and India’s first dedicated rail and transportation university. Established in 2018 as the National Rail & Transportation Institute and upgraded to a Central University in 2022, GSV focuses on transportation-oriented applied education, training, and research. Role Description The Contract Faculty in Computer Science and Engineering is a full-time, on-site role based at the GSV campus in Vadodara. The faculty member will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science and engineering, with emphasis on applications in rail and transportation domains. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and teaching lectures, labs, and tutorials; guiding student projects; conducting assessments; and providing academic mentoring and support.





The faculty member is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and incorporate industry-relevant tools and practices into teaching and learning.

- (A) A Master's degree with 60% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from a recognized top University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university with UGC-CSIR NET or GATE in relevant subject.

- Ph.D. degree from a recognized top university/ institution.

- (B) Experience: Desirable 1-2 years of post-qualification teaching/ research experience in equivalent cadre or relevant field in any Government/Private University or relevant Institute/Research institute.
