Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and strategic Content Planner & Script Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning engaging content, developing content calendars, researching trends, generating creative ideas, and writing compelling scripts for social media and video content.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of social media platforms, audience preferences, storytelling, and current digital trends.

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning

Develop weekly and monthly content calendars for social media platforms.

Plan content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.

Research industry trends, competitors, target audiences, and trending topics.

Generate creative content ideas for Reels, videos, carousels, posts, and campaigns.

Plan content based on business objectives, marketing campaigns, and target audiences.

Identify trending topics, formats, and content opportunities.

Coordinate with designers, video editors, and social media teams for content execution.

Ensure content is planned and delivered according to deadlines.

Maintain consistency in brand messaging and content themes.

Analyze content performance and suggest ideas for improvement.

Script Writing

Write engaging scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and other digital content.

Create strong hooks to capture audience attention within the first few seconds.

Develop creative concepts and storytelling ideas for video content.

Write scripts for educational, promotional, informative, and entertaining content.

Convert complex topics into simple, engaging, and easy-to-understand scripts.

Write effective calls-to-action (CTAs) based on campaign objectives.

Research topics before developing scripts.





Adapt scripts according to different platforms and target audiences.

Stay updated with trending video formats and social media content.

Work closely with video editors, presenters, and creative teams during content production.

Revise and improve scripts based on feedback and content performance.

Required Skills

Excellent content planning and organizational skills.

Strong creative writing and storytelling abilities.

Excellent command of English.

Ability to write engaging and conversational video scripts.

Robust understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.

Knowledge of social media trends and viral content formats.

Strong research and analytical skills.

Ability to create engaging hooks and CTAs.

Understanding of target audience behavior and preferences.

Creative thinking and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience** in content planning, script writing, content creation, or digital marketing.

Experience creating content calendars and social media strategies.

Experience writing scripts for Reels, YouTube Shorts, or other video content.

A portfolio of previous scripts, content plans, or social media work is preferred.
