Role Description The Content Director Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting the planning, creation, and management of content across Laneway’s consulting, technology, and media initiatives. In this role, the intern will assist in developing content strategies, drafting and editing articles, social media posts, and thought leadership pieces, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels. Day-to-day tasks include researching industry trends,



collaborating with consulting and technology teams to translate insights into clear narratives, and helping organize content calendars and campaign assets.

The intern will also support performance tracking for content campaigns and contribute ideas to enhance audience engagement and brand storytelling.

Qualifications

- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create transparent, compelling content for digital platforms.
- Interest or coursework in marketing, communications, business, or related fields, with an understanding of digital and social media channels.
- Ability to conduct structured research, synthesize information, and present it in concise, audience-friendly formats.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple content tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate content calendars.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, collaborating via digital tools, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity about business consulting, technology, startups, and modern media trends; prior internship or project experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office); familiarity with basic design or content management tools is beneficial.
