CG Generalist - VFXExperience: 4–6 Years

RoleWe are looking for a skilled CG Generalist with 4–6 years of professional VFX experience to work across multiple stages of the CG pipeline. The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, look development, lighting, rendering, and basic animation, with the ability to deliver production-ready assets and shots.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and refine 3D assets, environments, props, and characters for VFX projects.
- Handle texturing, shading, look development, lighting, and rendering for photorealistic CG.
- Support animation and camera work wherever required.
- Integrate CG seamlessly with live-action footage and compositing workflows.
- Work closely with CG/VFX Supervisors, Compositors, and Production to meet creative and technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot CG issues and optimize scenes, assets, and renders for production efficiency.




- Maintain quality, consistency, and technical standards across projects and deadlines.

Required Skills
- 4–6 years of hands-on VFX studio experience.
- Solid understanding of the CG/VFX production pipeline.
- Proficiency in one or more major DCCs such as Maya, Blender, Houdini, etc.
- Good knowledge of Arnold, Redshift, V-Ray, or equivalent render engines.
- Strong understanding of cinematic lighting, shading, and photorealistic look development.
- Basic understanding of Nuke or other compositing workflows and CG integration.
- Good artistic judgment, attention to detail, and ability to interpret feedback.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
- VFX studio/film/OTT production experience is mandatory.
