Role Description This full-time, in office role is based in gurgaon and combines responsibilities of a Computer Aided Design Engineer and Application Engineer. The role involves creating and updating 3D models and 2D drawings for anti-vibration and rubber-to-metal bonded components, ensuring designs meet mechanical performance, manufacturability, and quality standards. The engineer will support product development across the lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to validation and production release, working closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Day-to-day tasks include preparing CAD/CAM data,



maintaining PLM records, coordinating design changes, and assisting in tooling and testing activities for new and existing products. The role also includes providing technical application support to internal stakeholders and customers, interpreting specifications, resolving design-related issues, and contributing to continuous improvement in processes and product performance.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX or similar) and CAD/CAM for component and tooling design.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems for managing design data, revisions, and engineering change processes.
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles, including materials, vibration, stress analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Exposure to EDA or related engineering design automation tools for integrated product development is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and customer specifications, with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams in design, manufacturing, and quality.
- Experience in automotive components, rubber-to-metal bonded parts, or anti-vibration products is preferred.
