The Role

As the Composites Test Engineer, you will be ….

Key Responsibilities

1. Implement all the relevant test standards in the test lab
2. Develop the test methods
3. Be hands-on to independently operate UTM for mechanical testing of composite materials, adhesives and joints.
4. Study and analyse the failure modes
5. Prepare the test reports and manage test documentation.



(standardization & data management)
6. Provide inputs to evolve the future test requirements
7. Design test fixtures based on the test requirements.
8. Collaborate with Design/CAD, Procurement teams for activities related to tests and procurement.
9. Identify the resources required for Lab set-up and execution from time to time.
10. Travel : to perform some tests at other facility, vendor coordination, PDI etc.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

- Degree: B.Tech., M.Tech./M.S in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+years of hands-on experience in composite materials testing, test set-up design.

Technical Skills

- Good working knowledge on sensors and automation
