Role Description The Commis Chef role at THE THIRD PLACE @ KP is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division.

The Commis

Chef supports the kitchen team with daily food preparation, basic cooking tasks, and presentation of dishes according to established recipes and standards.

Responsibilities include assisting senior chefs, organizing ingredients, maintaining workstations, and ensuring that food is prepared efficiently and consistently. The role also involves following hygiene and safety procedures, helping with stock rotation,



and keeping the kitchen clean and orderly.

The Commis

Chef is expected to work collaboratively, respond to service needs, and contribute to a smooth kitchen operation.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Food Preparation and Cooking, with developing Culinary Skills suited to a professional kitchen environment.
- Commitment to high standards of Hygiene, including food safety practices and cleanliness in all work areas.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with kitchen and service teams and following instructions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with reliability and a positive, learning-focused attitude.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools; prior experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is an advantage.
- Relevant culinary training, certification, or diploma is preferred but not mandatory if practical skills and aptitude are demonstrated.
