About the Role

Binge Consulting is hiring Commis 1, Commis 2, and Commis 3 for a skilled kitchen in Turbhe. We are looking for hardworking, disciplined, and passionate kitchen professionals who can contribute to smooth kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Prepare ingredients as per recipes and kitchen requirements.
- Support senior chefs and kitchen staff during service.
- Ensure proper portioning, plating, and presentation of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Properly store food items and maintain stock as instructed.
- Minimize food wastage through proper handling and preparation.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues to the senior chef.
- Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie / Sous Chef / Head Chef.
- Work efficiently during busy kitchen operations.

Position-wise ResponsibilitiesCommis 1
- Handle assigned sections independently with minimal supervision.
- Assist in preparing and cooking dishes as per standard recipes.
- Guide and support Commis 2 and Commis 3 when required.
- Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation.

Commis 2




- Assist Commis 1 and senior chefs with food preparation and cooking.
- Handle basic cooking and preparation tasks independently.
- Ensure mise en place is completed before service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned section.

Commis 3
- Assist with basic food preparation, cutting, chopping, and mise en place.
- Support senior kitchen staff during preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen areas.
- Follow recipes, instructions, and hygiene standards.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, QSR, cloud kitchen, or catering environment is preferred.
- Relevant experience according to the Commis level will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and during weekends/holidays.
- Hardworking, punctual, and willing to learn.

Salary & Benefits

- Salary will depend on experience, skills, and position level.
