Role Description The Collections Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, responsible for leading and optimizing collections operations related to NPAs and overdue accounts. This role oversees collection strategies, assigning and monitoring cases, and ensuring timely follow-up through calls, visits, and documentation, while adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards.

The Collections

Manager will analyze portfolio performance, track collection metrics, and recommend process improvements to increase recovery rates and reduce delinquency. The role includes collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners,



preparing regular reports on collection outcomes, and supporting negotiation and settlement processes. The position requires hands-on management of collection staff, training team members, and maintaining a professional, ethical approach in all customer interactions.

Qualifications

- Strong background in collections, credit control, or NPA recovery, with the ability to design and implement effective collection strategies.
- Demonstrated skills in portfolio analysis, data interpretation, and reporting to track recovery performance and drive decision-making.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills for engaging with customers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of banking and financial services processes, asset management, and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience leading teams, managing targets, and coaching staff in a collections or operations environment.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize high-volume workloads and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and collection/CRM systems; comfort working with spreadsheets and databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field; prior experience in banking, NBFCs, or asset management is highly beneficial.
