Job Title: CNC / VMC Programmer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC / VMC Programmer responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC Turning and VMC machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and optimize programs for CNC Turning and VMC machines.
- Set up CNC/VMC machines and conduct program prove-outs.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machine parameters.
- Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues.
- Optimize machining cycles to improve productivity, tool life, and component accuracy.
- Inspect machined components and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Maintain CNC/VMC programs and machining documentation.
- Follow safety, quality, and production procedures.

Required Skills
- ITI/Diploma/ BE in Mechanical, Production,



or related engineering field.
- 2 – 10 years of experience in CNC and VMC programming/machining.
- Hands-on experience in CNC Turning and/or VMC operations.
- Valuable knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi CNC controls.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Mastercam, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAM software.
- Experience in precision component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC tool setting and program prove-out.
- Ability to optimize programs for cycle-time reduction and improved productivity.
