Role Description The Cloud Architecture Consultant is a full time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable cloud architectures that support BETA’s software products and internal systems. Day-to-day tasks include assessing business and technical requirements, selecting appropriate cloud services, defining migration strategies, and creating reference architectures and documentation.

The consultant collaborates closely with product, development, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable deployments, cost-effective resource usage, and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities also include monitoring performance,



resolving infrastructure issues, recommending improvements, and guiding teams on cloud governance, compliance, and automation standards.

Qualifications

- Strong cloud platform skills (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience designing secure, scalable architectures.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines).
- Knowledge of networking, security, and reliability concepts (e.g., VPCs, IAM, firewalls, load balancing, monitoring, backup and disaster recovery).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and modern application deployment patterns.
- Ability to analyze requirements, create architecture diagrams, write technical documentation, and communicate solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in cloud consulting, solutions architecture, or enterprise infrastructure roles; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, willingness to stay current with emerging cloud technologies, and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
