Role Description The Cloud Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruvallur. This role is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures that support BETA’s product portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing business and technical requirements, defining cloud infrastructure and solution architectures, and collaborating with software development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services.

The Cloud

Architect will configure and optimize cloud environments, oversee deployment and migration activities, and establish standards for performance, security, and cost efficiency.



This role also involves documenting architectural decisions, mentoring team members on best practices, and working closely with stakeholders to continuously improve the cloud ecosystem.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Solution Architecture skills, including the ability to design end-to-end cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Candidates should possess Infrastructure skills, with experience in cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), networking, storage, and security configurations.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, with familiarity in modern development practices, APIs, and automation tools (such as CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code).
- Candidates should possess Integration and Architecture skills, including designing interoperable systems, integrating services and applications, and ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with containerization, orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools, along with strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, document technical solutions clearly, and work in an on-site, fast-paced product development setting.
