Role Description:

The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Vadodara, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of ITM SLS Baroda University. The CFO will manage budgeting, financial planning, cash flow, and resource allocation to support the University’s strategic and academic goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies.

The role involves leading the finance team, developing internal controls, and implementing systems for effective financial governance and risk management. The CFO will collaborate with senior leadership, academic units, and external partners to provide data-driven financial insights, support long-term sustainability, and optimize the use of funds across the University.

Qualifications:

- Candidates should possess strong finance expertise, including experience in corporate or institutional finance, budgeting, and financial planning.




- Relevant qualifications such as Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Management with at least 55% marks. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, CPA, or CFA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive, post-qualification experience in senior financial leadership roles.
- Proficiency with modern accounting systems, ERP tools, and financial software, along with a solid commitment to ethical financial practices and transparent governance.
- Candidates should possess advanced analytical skills to evaluate financial data, assess risks, support strategic decisions, and improve operational efficiency.
- Prior experience in Higher Education (Universities/Colleges) or large educational groups is preferred / a distinct plus.
- Salary Range: ₹9.0 LPA – ₹15.0 LPA
