About the Company

Mahavir Polyplast Pvt. Ltd. is an established PVC pipe manufacturing company. We are now expanding our business into the manufacturing of PVC raw materials and One-Pack formulations.

We are looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer who can lead the formulation, development and technical setup of our new One-Pack manufacturing division.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and optimize PVC One-Pack formulations for different applications.

Develop formulations suitable for PVC pipes, fittings, profiles and other PVC products.

Research and evaluate PVC stabilizers, lubricants, processing aids, fillers, TiO₂ and other additives.

Conduct laboratory trials and production-scale trials.

Optimize formulations for quality, performance and cost efficiency.

Troubleshoot PVC processing and formulation-related issues.

Evaluate and approve raw materials and suppliers from a technical perspective.

Establish quality-control standards and testing parameters for raw materials and finished products.

Develop new formulations according to market and customer requirements.

Coordinate with the production team during formulation scale-up and commercial production.

Help establish the R&D;/testing laboratory for the new raw-material division.





Prepare formulation sheets, SOPs, testing procedures and technical documentation.

Continuously research new PVC technologies, additives and formulations.

Provide technical support to our PVC pipe manufacturing operations and future customers.

Take responsibility for the complete technical development of the One-Pack product range.

Candidate Requirements

B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Plastic Technology or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.

Strong practical experience in PVC One-Pack, PVC stabilizers, PVC additives or PVC compounding.

Good understanding of PVC processing and formulation.

Experience in taking formulations from R&D; and laboratory trials to commercial production.

Strong knowledge of PVC raw materials and additives.

Experience with PVC pipes, fittings, profiles or similar PVC applications will be preferred.

Solid analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to independently develop and optimize formulations

- Should be capable of taking ownership of the technical and R&D; setup of a new One-Pack manufacturing division.
