Job Title: Chartered Accountant

Department: VC & MD office

Location: Corporate Office (Kolkata)

Reporting To: VC & MD

Key Responsibilities : Prepare and consolidate annual budgets and rolling forecasts for all group companies . Review and support contract finalization from a financial and compliance perspective . Analyse actual performance against budgets and identify key variances with corrective actions .

Support the MD in financial planning, cash flow management, and capital allocation decisions . Develop dashboards for real-time monitoring of revenue, cost, and profitability metrics . Compile, analyse, and present monthly MIS reports for all units to the MD’s Office .

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of data from various plant finance teams . Prepare strategic review presentations and reports for management and board meetings . Highlight key performance indicators, cost trends, and operational efficiency parameters .

Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial policies across companies . Monitor fund utilization, inter-company transactions, and group-level reconciliations . Identify areas for process improvement,



cost reduction, and better financial control .

Assist the MD in evaluating new business opportunities, investments, and expansion proposals . Prepare feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for management review . Support decision-making on vendor contracts, CAPEX, and project budgeting .

Act as a bridge between the MD’s Office and the finance teams of all group entities . Liaise with auditors, consultants, and banks on matters requiring MD’s Office involvement . Track and follow up on pending financial actions and reports from different units .

Qualifications & Experienc e: Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandato ry6–8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a diversified manufacturing or group company set up Robust command over accounting standards, financial modelling, and consolidati on Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, and S APExposure to project costing, fund flow, and business analytics preferr ed
