Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a CHA Documentation specialist. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and managing all Customs House Agent (CHA) documentation related to import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company standards. The specialist will coordinate with internal operations, clients, and external stakeholders to gather necessary documents, verify information, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate records, updating documentation systems, tracking shipments, and supporting customs clearance processes. The role also requires close attention to detail, adherence to deadlines,



and proactive communication to ensure smooth documentation flow and minimal delays.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong documentation skills, including experience with Documentation and Technical Documentation relevant to logistics or customs processes.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Writing abilities to prepare clear, compliant, and well-structured CHA-related documents and communications.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review documentation, identify errors or inconsistencies, and interpret regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Clinical Documentation only if applicable to specialized cargo segments; otherwise, a focus on logistics documentation is preferred.
- Candidates should possess working knowledge of customs procedures, import/export regulations, and general logistics operations.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with MS Office and basic documentation management tools, along with solid organizational and time-management skills.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in CHA, freight forwarding, or logistics documentation; a relevant diploma or degree in logistics, commerce, or a related field is advantageous.
