Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cashier role based in Bengaluru. The Cashier is responsible for accurately processing customer transactions, including cash, card, and digital payments, while maintaining proper records and receipts. The role involves greeting customers, answering basic queries about pricing and products, and providing courteous, efficient service at the checkout counter.

The Cashier will balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, report any discrepancies, and follow established cash-handling and security procedures. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, coordinating with sales or inventory staff when required, and adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately and responsibly, with strong attention to detail.
- Basic numerical and computer skills,



including use of POS systems, billing software, and barcode scanners.
- Transparent and professional communication skills to interact with customers and team members in a respectful manner.
- Customer service mindset, including patience, problem-solving, and the ability to manage queues and busy periods.
- Reliability and integrity, with a focus on punctuality, adherence to procedures, and respect for confidential information.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a fast-paced retail or service environment.
- Prior experience in a cashier, retail, or customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum high school education or equivalent; proficiency in English and local languages is an advantage.
