Role Description The Career Counselor will work full time in office at the Ahmedabad (Nikol) center, supporting individuals planning international education and related career pathways. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, assessing academic and career interests, and guiding students on suitable countries, courses, and institutions. The role involves explaining test preparation options (IELTS, PTE, Duolingo), helping learners set realistic goals,



and coordinating with coaching and visa teams to ensure consistent support.

The Career

Counselor will assist with application planning, provide information on immigration and visa processes, and maintain accurate records of counseling interactions and student progress. The role also includes conducting group sessions, workshops, and presentations, and contributing to outreach activities that promote Rightway Overseas services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling.
- Candidates should possess skills in Career Development and Career Management.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English.
- Relevant experience in education consulting, study-abroad advisory, or academic counseling is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, counseling, management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to build trust with diverse learners, work collaboratively in a team, and manage multiple student cases efficiently.
- Familiarity with international education systems, standardized tests (IELTS, PTE, Duolingo), and basic visa processes is an advantage.
- Proficiency in common office software and comfort working with CRM or student management systems is beneficial.
