About the Role

Mukund Windows is launching a new vertical in flush doors, modular kitchens, and wardrobes, and is looking for an experienced Business Manager to lead and scale this business from the ground up. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to build a vertical, not just manage one.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end P&L; for the flush doors, modular kitchens, and wardrobes vertical
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors (plywood, laminates, hardware, fittings)
- Develop and grow a dealer/carpenter/contractor network in and around Jamshedpur
- Drive showroom and project sales; manage lead-to-conversion pipeline
- Coordinate with design and execution teams to ensure smooth order-to-installation delivery
- Set pricing, margins, and promotional strategy for the vertical
- Recruit, train, and manage a team as the vertical scales
- Track KPIs (revenue, conversion rate, order value, repeat business) and report to leadership





Requirements

- Minimum 5 years' experience in modular furniture, interiors, plywood/laminate, or building materials industry
- Proven track record in sales and/or P&L; ownership
- Existing network of vendors, dealers, or contractors in the interiors/furniture space strongly preferred
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of the Jamshedpur/Jharkhand market is a plus
- Comfortable working in a startup-like, build-from-scratch environment
