RoleWe are looking for a Business Head – Engineering Plastics Business to lead the growth of Kandui’s engineering plastics business across India.

The role will combine business development, technical sales, key-account management and strategic market development, working closely with customers, R&D;, production and senior leadership to develop and commercialize engineering polymer solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales and business development for engineering plastics and compounded materials, including Polymer, Nylon, PBT, PC and PP.
- Develop and manage relationships with large OEMs, Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers across India.
- Understand customer applications and technical requirements and recommend suitable grades / material solutions.
- Manage the complete customer development cycle—from RFQ, material selection and sampling to trials, validation and commercialization.
- Identify and develop new applications, customers, markets and business opportunities for engineering plastics.
- Work closely with R&D; and technical teams on new product development and application-specific solutions.




- Own key-account growth, sales targets, customer satisfaction and overall business development objectives.
- Build market intelligence on competitors, applications, pricing and emerging opportunities and translate it into actionable business plans.
- Represent Kandui at exhibitions, seminars, customer presentations and industry forums.
- Contribute to business strategy, product positioning, capacity planning and growth initiatives for the engineering plastics business.

What We Are Looking For
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in engineering plastics, polymer compounding or related plastics industry.
- Robust track record in B2B technical sales, business development and key-account management with OEMs / Tier 1 / Tier 2 customers.
- Good understanding of engineering polymers, compounding, material properties and end-use applications.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into technical and commercial material solutions.
- Experience in managing projects from RFQ through trials, validation and commercialization.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with R&D;, production and technical teams.
- Experience in developing new business, applications and customer accounts.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Plastics Technology or a related field. MBA / postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

- This is a PAN-India business leadership role based in Mumbai/Pune, with extensive customer travel.
