Vigilant Forensic Research and Analytics Pvt. Ltd. (VFRA) is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive our engagement with Government Departments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Public Institutions, and GeM (Government e-Marketplace).

? Position

Business Development Manager – Government & GeM

Location: Dhantoli, Nagpur, Maharashtra

Employment Type: Full-time | On-site

Experience: Relevant experience in Government Business Development / GeM preferred

? About the Role The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities within the Government and public-sector ecosystem, managing GeM-related activities, developing institutional partnerships, and contributing directly to VFRA's business growth and expansion.

? Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop business opportunities with Government Departments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, and Public Institutions.
- Manage GeM (Government e-Marketplace) registration, product/service listings, cataloguing, and bidding activities.
- Identify relevant government tenders, RFPs, and procurement opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, tender responses, and related documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders and institutional decision-makers.
- Track government projects, RFPs, tenders, and ensure timely submissions.




- Coordinate internally to prepare technically and commercially competitive proposals.
- Achieve business development targets and contribute to organizational growth.
- Represent VFRA in relevant meetings, exhibitions, conferences, government forums, and institutional engagements.

? Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in Business Development, preferably within the Government sector and/or GeM.
- Strong understanding of Government procurement processes, policies, tenders, and GeM workflows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to develop professional networks and maintain long-term institutional relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/business-development tools.
- Strategic thinking with a robust result-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with internal teams.
- Experience in cybersecurity, digital forensics, psychology, social impact, education, or technology solutions will be an advantage.

? Compensation

Paid Opportunity

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, and suitability for the role.

? Probation

Probation Period: 1 Month
