Job Title : Valuations - SA

Experience : 3 to 6 Years

Roles & Responsibilities
Perform Independent Price Verification (IPV) for Equity products, including cash equities, OTC products, equity swaps, convertible bonds, listed futures & options, and funds.
Validate pricing data using independent market sources and internal valuation models.
Analyze price variances, investigate exceptions, and resolve valuation discrepancies.
Review pricing of complex equity derivatives, structured products, and exotic instruments.
Calculate and validate valuation adjustments, reserves, and fair value hierarchy (FVH) classifications.
Perform trade and position reconciliations and support month-end valuation activities.
Prepare IPV reports, MIS dashboards, and variance analysis for management reporting.
Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Finance, Operations, and global teams to ensure accurate valuations.
Automate valuation and reporting processes using Python and support process improvements.
Ensure adherence to valuation controls,



governance, and internal policies.

Requisites
Bachelor//'s or Master//'s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Robust knowledge of Equity products, Equity Derivatives, and Independent Price Verification (IPV).
Experience with market data platforms such as Bloomberg, Markit, or similar tools.
Understanding of valuation methodologies, volatility surfaces, forward curves, and pricing models.
Experience in trade reconciliation, exception management, and valuation adjustments.
Proficiency in Python for automation, data analysis, and reporting.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
Valuable understanding of financial markets, risk management, and valuation controls.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with global teams.
